Principal & Owner

Before starting her own firm in San Francisco, Margaret Ash honed her skills and curated her unique style by designing for the some of the most influential interior designers and architects known to date: Kelly Wearstler, Amanda Nisbet, Elizabeth Bauer, Kendall Wilkinson, and Meyer Davis Studio. Her projects have been featured in various publications including Architectural Digest, Wall Street Journal, Sotheby's Home and many others. 


Design Director

Chelsi grew up in Toronto, Canada and studied at Ryerson University's School of Interior Design. Upon finishing her schooling, she moved to London where she worked as a color consultant for Farrow & Ball. In 2012 Chelsi moved to San Francisco, where she has had the opportunity to work for some of San Francisco's top interior design firms. Chelsi feels fortunate to be able to create spaces for people that serve as a framework for rich experiences She believes that the most important aspect of design is to constantly edit and never over-design.



Courtney's role at MAD is integral in making our vision come to life. Managing all the moving parts of a project including, ordering, payment processing and tracking. Courtney provides our line of communication between the client and ensures that what we expect is delivered. 


Design Assistant



Marley comes to the MAD team with a diverse level of skill sets ranging from landscape design to 3D modeling and rendering.  She graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Interior Design Degree. She is our organizer extraordinaire and is invaluable in making sure our deliverables are timely and aligned with the MAD aesthetic. 

From payment application to invoicing Kevin makes sure our financial operations run smoothly. A great communicator he always ensures that clients feel like they are in good hands and this financial component is part of the personalized service we pride ourselves on.
